That's right boys and girls. Kingston Point BMX is once again running the World Famous "Dollar Open" series. Register for your normal class and for just a buck you can also register for the dollar open race that day. It's split into two groups, 13 and under (Junior Elite Class), and 14 and over (Senior Elite Class). Everyone in these two groups race riders of any proficiency (rookie, novice, girls, expert or pro). And there's no excuse for not racing. Most of you can find a dollar in change under your car seats. Points are tabulated based on your main event finish and there will be year end prizes. You need to have a minimum of 10 races to qualify. But we will count your best 15 scores. THAT'S ONLY 10 - 15 BUCKS FOR THE SEASON!!!! You can get that just by mowing a lawn or doing some extra chores around the house. Show your parents your willing to work for what you want. And what you want is the glory of standing on the (cardboard and scrapwood) podium at the end of the season being crowned "Dollar Open Champion" This series is the hottest thing on two wheels since Travis Pastrana did the double backflip. This series is so popular it has drawn riders from as far away as Orange County (15 miles). Who wouldn't want to race against some of the fastest kids at the track, just to see how you measure up? Remember it's all about the "W". Who wants it? Who needs it? This is your chance to find out.
